Screen capacity from internal dimensions

Enter internal bin length, width and height in centimeters, an average packed item volume and the share of bin volume considered usable. The calculator reports liters before and after the allowance, divides usable volume into whole items and shows the remaining modeled volume after whole items are counted.

Volume is only the first packing constraint

Irregular shapes, orientation, dividers, labels, access, fragility and weight can reduce capacity far below a simple volume ratio. Confirm internal rather than external dimensions and respect the bin, rack and handling load ratings. A physical pack test is the stronger check when the item geometry matters.

Frequently asked questions

Why is there a fill allowance?

It reserves space for imperfect packing, access or dividers using an editable percentage.

Are partial items counted?

No. The final item count is rounded down to whole items.

Does the tool check weight capacity?

No. Weight and structural ratings must be checked separately.
