What would you like to do next?
Calculate a weighted average
Not every value should count equally. Paste one value and weight per line, and the calculator returns the weighted average using the total weighted score divided by total weight. It is useful for course categories, rubric scores, weighted ratings, blended KPIs and other cases where each entry has a different importance.
Paste value and weight pairs
Use lines like 92, 40 or 85 35. The tool reads the first two numbers on each valid line.
Frequently asked questions
What is a weighted average?
It is an average where each value is multiplied by its weight before totals are divided.
Do weights need to add to 100?
No. Any consistent weights work because the calculator divides by total weight.
Can I paste from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Comma, space, semicolon and tab separated pairs are supported.
