Reading Finish Date Calculator
Project a finish date from pages remaining, pages per day and chosen reading days.
What would you like to do next?
Move a page goal onto the calendar
Enter total pages, pages already completed, a realistic pages-per-session target and the next reading date. Choose every day, weekdays only or weekends only. The calculator rounds the remaining pages into whole reading sessions, advances only across eligible dates and reports the estimated finish date and final shorter session.
Update the plan when the pace changes
Page density, chapter length, notes, rereading and edition layout can make equal page counts require different amounts of time. The projection assumes every selected day is used and does not reserve holidays or missed sessions. Return with the current page and an observed daily pace when the original plan no longer matches the reading.
Frequently asked questions
Are non-reading days skipped?
Yes. Weekday-only and weekend-only schedules advance only across their eligible dates.
Is the last session always full length?
No. The calculator reports the smaller remainder for the final session.
Does page count measure difficulty?
No. Dense or technical pages can require more time than the same number of lighter pages.
